Ketamine Clinics Los Angeles (KCLA) has pioneered Ketamine Infusion Therapy for mental health for more than a decade, providing more than 30,000 infusions, to over 6,000 patients, with an 83% success rate since 2014. Co-Founded by Dr. Steven and Sam Mandel, the father-son duo have been at the forefront of innovating the latest and greatest evidence-based modalities. With a commitment to comprehensive care, KCLA offers Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). With a passion for increasing access to care, KCLA accepts ten of the largest health insurance plans in California.

KCLA is comprised of a tight knit, collaborative team of an anesthesiologist, psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and administrative staff. All teammates are experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate professionals dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. The entire team works collaboratively in a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art center at 6801 Park Terrace, Suite 525, Los Angeles, CA 90045. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Psychiatric Evaluations
  • Psychotherapy
  • Psychiatric Medication Management
  • Treatment consultations for various services
  • Provision and supervision of IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy
  • Provision and supervision of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Supervision of advanced practitioners, nurses, and other clinical staff 
  • Outreach to providers and organizations to develop referral relationships
  • Timely documentation and coding of clinical notes
  • Leadership and development of teammates
  • Assisting in the overall growth and development of the Company

 

Requirements

  • Two years of outpatient psychiatry experience
  • Current, unrestricted California medical license 
  • Current, unrestricted DEA license for all schedules (except I)
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry
  • BLS (Company can assist with certification)
  • ACLS (Company can assist with certification)
  • ASA Moderate Sedation Training (Company can assist with certification)

Compensation 

  • Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available
  • Both independent contractor and employee arrangements are available
  • Depending on the arrangement, compensation can be a percentage of collections, hourly rate ($200-$250), or salaried ($300,000-$450,000)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist our Psychiatrist with mapping and motor threshold determinations
  • Provide TMS treatments
  • Charting and documentation
  • Following up with prospective patients regarding treatment
  • Following up with established patients regarding treatment 
  • Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills 
  • Various administrative tasks (inventory, phones, emails, scheduling, billing support, etc.)
  • A genuine patient advocate, leader, self-starter, detail-oriented, and with excellent communication skills
  • Assist in the overall growth and development of the clinic

Requirements

  • Must be certified by Magventure
  • At least two years of experience working as a TMS Technician
  • Must live in or near the 90045 zip code and report to the office in person 
  • Immediate start
  • 4 hours per week to start, will grow to one full 8-hour day in 1-3 months. Opportunity to grow into a full-time position with benefits in approximately 3-6 months, if desired
  • Prior mental health experience is ideal, though not required 

Compensation 

  • $25-35 per hour
